Within the last few hours I received word from a source close to the situation that 6'8 center Charles DeCosta '09 of Living Faith (NJ) has verbally committed to Howard. DeCosta is originally from Atlanta, Georgia, and is one of the top unsigned senior big men in the Garden State. Living Faith, a part of APEX Academies (NJ), has a talented squad and has played a tough schedule this year to get good exposure. Clearing it paid off for Charles DeCosta, as he is now a future member of the Howard Bison. Gil Jackson's team will be looking to improve upon a tough 2008-2009 season, and hopes to make some noise in the MEAC next year. Once again, in news being first reported by Northstar Basketball, Charles DeCosta of Living Faith has committed to Howard.
