Prime Time Shootout Final Weekend Class of 2010 School Lists

Here are the class of 2010 school lists that I collected at the Sovereign Bank Arena over the weekend:

Jason Morris ’10, Hotchkiss School (CT): Georgia Tech, Georgia, Clemson, Florida, Xavier, Wake Forest, Stanford, Virginia, Georgetown, UConn, Villanova, and Duke
                                   Offers: Georgia Tech, Georgia, Clemson, Florida, Xavier, Wake Forest, Stanford, Virginia, Georgetown, UConn, and Villanova
                                    Favorites: “No, no, none right now.”
                                    Note- Morris said he has “never really had a dream school,” but went on to add, “Of course there’s nothing wrong with playing at the schools with the tradition like the Georgetowns, the Dukes, the UNCs.”

Doron Lamb ’10, Oak Hill Academy (VA): Pitt, Marquette, Syracuse, Xavier, St. John’s, Kansas, West Virginia, UConn, and Louisville
                                  Offers: All; Pitt, Marquette, Syracuse, Xavier, St. John’s, Kansas, West Virginia, UConn, and Louisville
                                  Favorites: None
                                  Note- Lamb is completely open in his recruitment.

Shaq Thomas ’10, Mountain State Academy (WV): West Virginia, Florida, Virginia Tech, Clemson, Providence, Seton Hall, Kansas, Rutgers, Syracuse, St. John’s, Xavier, and La Salle
                                    Offers: Syracuse, Xavier, and La Salle
                                    Favorites: None; “No, not really. I’m still open. I’m just going to take my visits.”
                                    Note- Thomas said that he is going to decide in the spring.

Terrence Ross ’10, Montrose Christian (MD): Louisville, Maryland, Kansas, Memphis, Tennessee, Georgetown, Oklahoma, Oregon, Oregon State, Washington, Washington State, UCLA, and Kentucky

                              Notes- Regan, who told me he has a GPA of about 3.3, said that “after the season” he will “assess” his list.

Jordin Mayes ’10, Westchester (CA): Cal, UCLA, USC, Washington, Washington State, Arizona, Arizona State, Stanford, Oregon, Oregon State, Colorado, San Diego, San Diego State, Texas A&M, Utah, Marquette, Santa Clara, Gonzaga, and UNLV

                                     Note- Mayes said that the whole Pac-10 is recruiting him.

                                          Favorites: “Maryland and USC pretty much.”
                                          Notes- Howard, who is from California, but plays AAU ball with Florida’s Team Breakdown, said that Maryland, USC, Virginia, Arkansas, and Stanford “are the main ones” recruiting him. Regarding when he plans to commit, Howard said, “[I have] no real timetable, just whenever I feel comfortable, but I want to wait until after the summer for sure because I think I’ll get better schools to look at me.”

Kadeem Jack ’10, Rice (NY): Pitt, Seton Hall, Syracuse, Arkansas, and Miami

                                   Note- Jack said he thinks he will have more offers “by the end of the season.”
