Prime Time Shootout Live Running Blog- St. Patrick's (NJ) vs. Oak Hill Academy (VA)
by Alex Schwartz
The biggest game of the 2009 Prime Time Shootout is just a few minutes away. The last matchup of the day features the two-loss St. Patrick's (NJ) Celtics and the undefeated Oak Hill Academy (VA) Warriors. Last year these two teams met in the last game of the day on Saturday at the Sovereign Bank Arena as well, and St. Pat's won 63-54 despite a big game from Oak Hill's Brandon Jennings. Both teams look a bit different this year, but the overall core group for each squad remains the same. St. Patrick's is led by North Carolina-signee Dexter Strickland '09, George Mason-bound Paris Bennett '09, Kyrie Irving '10, and Michael Gilchrist '11. Dean Kowalski '09 is the team's other starter, while Derrick Gordon '11, Chase Plummer '10, and Kevin Boyle, Jr. '11 come off the bench. For Oak Hill, which is maybe the deepest team in America, Oklahoma-signee Keith "Tiny" Gallon '09, Virginia Tech-bound Lamont "MoMo" Jones '09, and Doron Lamb '10 lead the way, while West Virginia-pledge Bryon Allen '10, Syracuse-commit Baye Moussa Kieta '10, and Glenn Bryant '09 amongst others are great as well. The game is about to begin.

10:17pm- Pe'Shon Howard '10 hit a three to put the Warriors ahead 12-10.

10:21pm- With 90 seconds left in the first eight minutes of action, the Warriors are up 17-16.

11:28pm- A bucket by Bennett has cut the lead to three, 60-57. Jones then missed the front end of a one-and-one for Oak Hill, but the Celtics couldn't convert at the other end.
