I heard from Adam Johnson '09 of City College HS (MD) within the hour, and the athletic wing gave me some big news. Johnson informed me that he has verbally committed to St. Francis (PA). The talented senior told me he committed "yesterday . . . around 10pm," adding that he  decided "like last week." So why did Johnson pick the NEC squad? "They were just the school that seemed [the] most interested." Although he was unsure of who else he held offers from, Adam said that Oregon State was the other school he considered before picking St. Francis (PA). Once again, in news being first reported by Northstar Basketball, Adam Johnson has committed to St. Francis (PA).
