Within the last 15 minutes I have received word from Rich Marcucci, who runs APEX Academies (NJ), a prep school in New Jersey, about three of his players. "Ben Mockford from our post grad program has just committed to Iona," said Marcucci. Mockford is a guard who was at powerhouse Oak Hill Academy (VA) prior to heading to the Garden State school. Coach Marcucci also said that "Dominique Youmans [has committed] to Hampton."  In addition, Marcucci informed me that ex-Colts Neck (NJ) star Steven Spinella has been offered a scholarship by South Carolina. Once again, in news being first reported by Northstar Basketball, Ben Mockford has verbally committed to Iona, while Dominique Youmans has selected Hampton.
