Within the last half hour I learned from a source close to the situation that Aaron Brown '11 has left Roman Catholic (PA). The talented sophomore big man is regarded as one of the top 2011 ballers in Pennsylvania, so this is a big hit to the Philadelphia powerhouse. The squad will have to rely on strong guard play from Villanova-commit Maalik Wayns '09 and Rakeem Brookins '10, while Anthony Mayo '10 will need to pick up the slack down low. The source who provided me the information has received confirmation from two people within Roman Catholic that this is indeed true. As of now, it is unclear exactly when and why Brown left and it is unknown where he is headed. Nonetheless, it seems to be the case that Aaron Brown is leaving Roman Catholic, in news being first reported by Northstar Basketball.
