Team NJABC Ballers Take Visits

by Alex Schwartz

This past weekend was big for a Garden State AAU program as well as two colleges. Team NJABC had five players on unofficial visits to a pair of schools. Robert Morris had three players on campus for over the weekend: 6'7 power forward Wayne Newsom '10 from Piscataway (NJ), 5'10 point guard Dondre Whitmore '10 from Trenton Catholic (NJ), and 6'5 combo forward Markese Tucker '10 also from Trenton Catholic (NJ). All three players are receiving interest from many NEC, CAA, and MAAC schools, with Whitmore also drawing interest from schools in the A-10. Princeton had a pair of players from the program on campus as well: 6'3 combo guard Frantz Massenat '10 from Trenton Catholic (NJ) and 6'2 combo guard Steve Rennard '10 of St. Joseph's Metuchen (NJ). Both players are being recruited by a number of schools in the MAAC, CAA, Patriot League, and Ivy League, with Massenat also being courted by A-10 and Big East programs. I'll be sure to keep you up-to-date on the recruitment of these five talented players.
