I just received word from a source with knowledge of the situation that 6'10 Aaric Murray '09 of Glen Mills (PA) has committed to La Salle. The gifted big man is one of the nation's top low post players. This is a huge pickup—both in size and talent—for the Explorers, who are looking to climb the ranks of the Atlantic 10. Murray will have an immediate impact at La Salle, and will likely start from day one. Murray was one of the most impressive players at Hoop Group Elite Camp this summer, and had college coaches following him from game to game. This a major pickup for Head Coach John Giannini and his staff.
