Update on Paris Bennett- Has a Final Five

I caught up with 6'6 class of 2009 forward Paris Bennett of St. Patrick's (NJ) yesterday and received some information regarding his recruitment. Bennett, who was a major drawing card for low-major and mid-major program coaches over the summer with AAU Team New Jersey ABC, has narrowed his list to five schools: Siena, Kent State, George Mason, Iona, and Rider, all of which have offered him a scholarship. I inquired of Bennett what his visit schedule was going to be and he said, "[I] just came from Siena. [I am] going to Kent [State] on Friday [the 12th] and [George] Mason the following weekend [20th and 21st]," adding that all three are official visits, and that he still needs to set up trips to Rider and Iona. Of the five schools, which Paris says are definitely his finalists, he has no favorites. I'll try to keep you up to date on how Bennett's recruitment comes along.
