Egheosa Edomwonyi ’09 of The Hun School (NJ) is one of the most sought after big men in the New Jersey/New York/Pennsylvania area amongst mid-major schools. Edomwonyi visited the Drexel campus on Friday, September 5, and had a great time. “I visited Drexel [Friday]. It’s pretty [awesome],” said Egheosa when I caught up with him yesterday via text message. The Dragons have yet to offer the Garden State post player, but appear to be in good terms with him nonetheless. Edomwonyi told me that he plans on “narrowing down [his] list of schools” next week. He has interest from over 20 schools, so it will be interesting to see who remains on Egheosa’s list after he cuts it down. I will keep you up to date on Edomwonyi’s recruitment as it continues to move along.
