MAJOR NEWS!!! Rashad Whack Commits to George Mason

Bishop McNamara (MD) has two stud seniors in Talib Zanna and Rashad Whack, and one of them made a college decision today. "I decided to go to George Mason," said Whack via text message, letting me know that he has picked Jim Larranaga's program. He committed "this morning on [his official] visit." Whack is a talented player and this a huge get for the CAA powerhouse. The Patriots are also in the race to land a number of other talented class of 2009 players such as Paris Bennett of St. Patrick's (NJ), Erique Gumbs of Caravel Academy (DE), Will Adams of Imhotep Charter (PA), Eli Gore of The Bullis School (MD), Lasan Kromah of Eleanor Roosevelt (NY). Could the commitment of Whack lead to some others committing to the Patriots? Only time will tell, but for now, the GMU staff has got to be happy to have picked up a verbal commitment from Rashad Whack.
