MAJOR NEWS!!! Update on . . . Keith "Tiny" Gallon- Back to Oak Hill
by Alex Schwartz
I received word via text message from Keith "Tiny" Gallon '09 just over an hour ago that his high school plans for next year are changing. Gallon was all set to leave Oak Hill Academy (VA) go to Word of God (NC) and run with arguably America's top player, John Wall '09, but that is not longer the case. "I decided to go back to Oak Hill," said the big man, adding, "it's official, I'm staying." Gallon, who is favoring Oklahoma as a college choice, said this regarding Oak Hill: "I realized [it] is like a family and [Head] Coach [Steve] Smith is a cool coach." So, it seems that Oak Hill does have the dominant big man it was lacking, and will now feature three superstars in Gallon, Oklahoma-commit Tommy Mason-Griffin '09, and Doron Lamb '10. The Warriors could be back near the top of the basketball world next season.
