Update on . . . Andrew Madlinger- Takes a Visit to Princeton
by Alex Schwartz
Andrew Madlinger is not a household name in the hoops world, not even in the area, but maybe he should be. Madlinger, a 6'2 class of 2010 shooting guard, is one of the best long-range shooters in New Jersey, and maybe in the whole New Jersey/New York/Pennsylvania area. The Ridge (NJ) star flies under the radar because he does not play AAU ball, but watching the kid play high school ball gives you a great idea of just how good he really is. Andrew can spot up from just about anywhere from beyond the arc, and when he shoots it, you expect it to go in. At least one college is beginning to take notice of the talented rising junior with a 4.1 GPA, as he recently took an unofficial visit to Princeton, according to his father, who also mentioned that Andre has high interest in the Tigers. Madlinger is a top-notch shooter and could be one of the Garden State's biggest sleepers.
