Will Adams Still High On Rider; Visiting James Madison

by Alex Schwartz

Imhotep Charter (PA) rising senior shooting guard Will Adams is a talented player, and is helping the program come to prominence in Pennsylvania. Adams is sought after by numerous mid-major programs, and there has been some Big East interest for the class of 2009 star. Will told me in late July that he had a top four of Rider, Drexel, Towson, and George Mason in that order. Rider has taken the lead, and the Broncs are keeping it. Adams confirmed to me tonight via text message that the New Jersey school that just produced NBA Draft lottery pick Jason Thompson (Sacramento Kings) is still at the top of his list. He also informed me that he will be taking an unofficial visit to James Madison this weekend. So although Rider is in front for the Keystone State baller, he is still weighing his options and nothing is certain. I will keep you informed on how Adams' recruitment is coming along.
