Summer Shootout: Ridge (NJ) vs. William Allen (PA)

by Alex Schwartz

Ridge is entering this game with a 0-2 record in the Summer Shootout, but that doesn’t mean the team hasn’t had its bright spots. Andrew Madlinger ’10, has been absolutely fantastic in the team’s first two games, scoring 20+ both times, including 34 points with eight threes against Trenton Central (NJ). They will try to get their first win against William Allen, a school from Allentown. Although they are actually from Allentown, Pennsylvania, not New Jersey, could the fact that the game is being played in Allentown High School (NJ) be a good luck charm? We’ll find out soon enough. The game is already well underway, as this gym, the West gym, is ahead of the other one. Once again, I only have numbers, not names, sorry.
