- I recently reported that at least three sources have told me that Doron Lamb '10, currently of Bishop Loughlin (NY), will be headed to Oak Hill Academy (VA) next year. This definitely seems to be the case, as I saw the rising junior walking around at the AAU Super Showcase in Orlando in a Oak Hill Academy Warriors basketball shirt. It looks like New York will be losing one of its finest ballers.
- Geoff Arnold seems to be settling in well at St. Joseph's. The former top assistant at Drexel recently took an assistant coaching job at his alma mater. He has been at a handful events since then, wearing new St. Joe's gear. Geoff is a great guy and Northstar Basketball would like to wish him the best!
- Casey Smallwood, who was a coach at Oak Hill Academy (VA) last year, has accepted a Division II coaching job at Lees-McRae College. Smallwood will be the school's top assistant coach.
- Mike LaPlante '11 of The St. Andrew's School (RI) recently picked up his first scholarship offer. St. Andrew's Head Coach Mike Hart informed me that LaPlante has been offered a scholarship by the University of Rhode Island.
