The past three days have been huge for New England basketball. First, on Thursday, 6'7 small forward Tucker Halpern '09 of The Nobles School (RI) verbally committed to Brown. That was followed up the next day by 6'3 guard Sam Martin '09 of Worcester Academy (MA) deciding on Yale. Today, within the last half hour, 6'9 center  Ben Crenca '09 of Worcester Academy (MA) picked Vermont. A source close to the situation informed me of the three commitments, all of which are first being reported by Northstar Basketball.
